    What to wear

    Think elegant but easy, and remember you will be on garden and stone underfoot, so bring kind shoes.

    Etna evenings

    Days are warm enough, it is still late May under Etna, and the estate sits at altitude, so evenings cool down more than by the sea. A light layer for after dark is a good idea.

  • Nearby

    Make a trip of it

    Taormina, the baroque streets of Catania, the Etna wine roads and the sea are all close. Come a few days early and make the most of it.

  • Practical

    Money and language

    Euros, and cards are widely accepted. A little Italian is always welcome, but English goes a long way here.
